Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tangier

Upon arrival at Tangier's airport or port, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Along the way, visit the famous Hercules Caves and enjoy a scenic drive along the coast. Once in the city, you'll check into a riad and have free time to explore Tangier's medina. Overnight stay in a riad.

Day 2: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, head towards Chefchaouen, a charming town in the Rif Mountains. Once a secret stronghold, it was closed to Europeans until 1920. Its blue and white streets, local crafts, and serene atmosphere make it a magical stop. Arrive in Chefchaouen and enjoy free time to explore. Overnight in a hotel in the medina.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Roman Ruins of Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

Spend the morning exploring Chefchaouen’s medina, then travel to Fez via the Roman ruins of Volubilis and a brief stop in Meknes. Discover Volubilis' impressive archaeological site before arriving in Fez. Overnight stay in a riad with a pool.

Day 4: Fez – Guided City Tour

Explore Fez, Morocco’s oldest imperial city and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the ancient medina, bustling with life, and admire its mosques, madrasas, and narrow streets. Learn about its rich history, including the renowned University of Al Quaraouiyine. Overnight in a riad in Fez.

Day 5: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Erfoud – Merzouga

Journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Africa,” and Azrou, famous for its cedar forests and monkeys. Continue through the dramatic Tizi N'Talghamt pass to Erfoud, known for its fossils, before reaching the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Enjoy a desert sunset, dinner, and an overnight stay at a hotel near the dunes.

Day 6: Merzouga – Desert Nomads – Camel Trek

Visit the village of Khamlia to enjoy Gnawa music, then take a 4x4 tour around the Erg Chebbi dunes, exploring nomadic settlements and abandoned villages. Later, embark on a camel trek at sunset to a desert camp where you'll dine and spend the night under the stars in a traditional tent.

Day 7: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Watch the sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga. Continue to Todra Gorge, a haven for trekkers and climbers. Travel through the “Valley of 1,000 Kasbahs” and the Valley of Roses, where locals produce rose water. Overnight in a cozy hotel near the Dades River.

Day 8: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Explore the Dades Valley’s unique rock formations before traveling to Ouarzazate, known as Morocco’s "Hollywood." Visit the iconic Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka Pass and arrive in Marrakech. Overnight stay in a riad.

Day 9: Marrakech – Free Day

Enjoy a free day in Marrakech to explore Jemaa el-Fna Square, the medina, and landmarks like the Majorelle Gardens and Saadian Tombs. An optional guided tour is available. Overnight in a riad in the medina.

Day 10: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat – Asilah

Depart for Casablanca to see highlights like the Hassan II Mosque and Corniche. Continue to Rabat for a panoramic tour of the Royal Palace, Mohammed V Mausoleum, and Hassan Tower. End the day in Asilah, where you’ll have time to explore its tranquil medina. Overnight in a hotel.
