Upon arrival in Marrakech, our team will meet you at the airport and transfer you to a charming riad. You’ll have the opportunity to relax, check in, and settle into your accommodation. Afterward, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner at the riad, where you’ll spend the night, preparing for the adventure ahead.
After breakfast, you’ll begin your journey on the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs, starting with a scenic drive through the Atlas Mountains. Your first major stop will be Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ancient kasbahs and as a filming location for movies like Game of Thrones. From there, continue the road trip, passing through picturesque towns like Skoura and Taourirt. The day ends in the Dades Valley, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night in a local riad.
On the third day, you’ll visit the stunning Todra Gorge, where towering rock walls rise over 200 meters. After exploring the gorge, the tour continues through Tinerhir and the scenic palm groves of Tinjdad and Touroug, offering insight into local life. You’ll then reach Erfoud, a town famous for its fossils, before heading to Merzouga. Here, you’ll swap your vehicle for camels and venture into the vast dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy a mesmerizing desert sunset and spend the night in a traditional desert camp, where a delicious dinner awaits.
Start your day with an unforgettable desert sunrise, then return by camel to Merzouga. Afterward, you’ll continue your journey through Rissani, known for its historic medina, and visit the towns of Tazarine and Nkob, where you’ll admire traditional adobe architecture. The tour then leads you through the Draa Valley, passing the village of Agdz, before heading back to Ouarzazate. Finally, you’ll cross the Atlas Mountains to return to Marrakech, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night.
On the fifth day, you’ll have a free day to explore the vibrant city of Marrakech. Visit the famous Jemaa el-Fna square, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the Koutoubia Mosque. Wander through the narrow streets of the medina and shop for souvenirs in the bustling souks. You can also indulge in traditional Moroccan cuisine at local restaurants. Enjoy a relaxing evening in your riad, where you’ll have dinner and overnight accommodation.
On your final day, you’ll have some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Depending on your flight schedule, our driver will transfer you to the airport for your departure, marking the end of this incredible journey through Morocco’s history, desert landscapes, and cultural gems.
